It appears I have nothing interesting to write about. I could tell you about what I did at New Year but you’ve probably already read it on Brian’s blog so it’s official, I’m boring. Oh I just remembered something quite interesting, we went to Cabaret Voltaire on Hogmanay and bumped into the only and only gorgeous Johnifer Clive http://www.myspace.com/ontherunfromthemi5. By the way, Ultragroove at Cabaret Voltaire http://www.thecabaretvoltaire.com/ in Edinburgh City Centre was fantastic. Excellent music and a trendy wee venue. We stayed there until about 6am in the morning which, for me, is nothing short of a miracle as I cant really be arsed clubbing anymore and if I do go, I normally stay for about an hour then get a chippy and go home. Ultragroove is the business!

CabVol is pretty decent! Never venture there enough though as none of my crowd are really into it that much - its a shame as Edinburgh, for being a capital city, is bloody dire when it comes to finding a good club…

No BigFatJim, I haven’t been up to anything that could be described as an adventure. Had a lovely Christmas in Cumbernauld, went out with my friends a couple of times, watched a lot of telly and was generally very lazy. Good for me, but boring to read about on a blog.
beambeam, at least you have CabVol through there, we have nothing thats anywhere near that quality in Glasgow.

Don’t talk to me about telly !
I’ve got about 40 channels on my TV, but about half are in Thai and the other half German (fuck knows…)
The only descent channel I get is BBC World which has git site reception, which means I need to switch to Fox Nwes ™(c)
I’ve watched so much of that alarmist, right wing nonsense that I am now a nervous wreck !
What was good on telly this year by the way ?

Yup It’s January Lynn the borin short dark days of Glasgow winter. Mind you I can do with borin after one of the worst festive advetures ever I managed to get Divorced and dumped in the same month and spent the bells in ma local pub and past oot on their couch in true Glasgow tragic 30 somethin style.
But lets stay possitive in the 08 fancy a boiled egg in the microwave.

Cheers Lynn, it was lovely to see you both… especially you though cos Limmy was pretty much glued to that wall for most of the night! Will you be going to any of the shows in March? We’re going to the Friday one I think and it would be nice to see you there xxx
